Wildlife Conservation Week: सीएम ने तीन शावकों का किया नामकरण, 10 बाड़े भी लोकार्पित किए

रायपुर। वन्यप्राणी संरक्षण सप्ताह के अवसर पर गुरुवार को छत्तीसगढ़ के CM भूपेश बघेल कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुए। इस दौरान उन्होंने तीन शावकों का नामकरण भी किया। सीएम ने इन शावकों का नाम नदियों के नाम पर अरपा,पैरी और सबरी रखा।

बता दें कि वन्यप्राणी संरक्षण सप्ताह के अवसर पर वन विभाग द्वारा एक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया था। जिसमें सीएम भूपेश बघेल शामिल हुए। इस अवसर पर वे जंगल सफारी नवा रायपुर में उन्होंने शेर के तीन शावकों का नामकरण किया और वन्यप्राणियों के लिए निर्मित 10 बाड़े का लोकार्पण भी किया।

वन्यजीवों के संरक्षण के प्रति करते हैं जागरुक

बता दें कि वन्यजीव सप्ताह हर वर्ष भारत में 2 से 8 अक्टूबर तक मनाया जाता है। इस दौरान भारत की केंद्र और राज्य सरकारें वन्यजीवों के संरक्षण के प्रति कार्य करती हैं। वहीं विभिन्न गतिविधियों का आयोजन भी किया जाता है। जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए बैठकों, निबन्ध लेखन, चित्रकला, संभाषण, फ़िल्म स्क्रीनिंग आदि प्रयोगिताओं का आयोजन किया जाता है। भारत में सबसे पहले 7 जुलाई, 1955 को 'वन्य प्राणी दिवस' मनाया गया था और निर्णय लिया गया कि प्रत्येक वर्ष 2 अक्टूबर से पूरे सप्ताह वन्य प्राणी सप्ताह मनाया जाएगा।
