Earthquake Tremors: एक बार फिर भूकंप ने देश के कई हिस्सों में दहशत फैला दी है। शुक्रवार देर रात भूकंप के झटकों से उत्तर भारत के कई राज्य धर्रा गये। दिल्ली-एनसीआर से लेकर कश्मीर समेत आधा दर्जन से अधिक राज्यों में भूकंप का असर दिखा। झटके इतने तेज थे कि लोग घबराकर घरों से बाहर निकल आए। खबरों के मुताबिक, भूकंप का केंद्र ताजिकिस्तान था, यहां भूकंप की तीव्रता रिक्टर स्केल पर 6.3 मापी गई।

दिल्ली-एनसीआर, पंजाब, हरियाणा, राजस्थान, उत्तराखंड, उत्तर प्रदेश, जम्मू-कश्मीर समेत पूरे उत्तर भारत में भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए गए।

नेशनल सेंटर फॉर सेस्मोलॉजी के मुताबिक, पंजाब के अमृतसर में रात 10.34 बजे भूकंप महसूस हुआ। झटकों की तीव्रता 6.1 रही। पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह ने कहा, भूकंप से अमृतसर और उसके आसपास के इलाकों में नुकसान की अब तक कोई खबर सामने नहीं आई है। पुलिस-प्रशासन स्थिति पर नजर बनाए हुए हैं।

भूकंप के बाद जम्मू-कश्मीर के पूर्व सीएम उमर अब्दुल्ला ने ट्वीट कर कहा, ‘2005 के भूकंप के बाद कभी श्रीनगर में कोई ऐसा झटका महसूस नहीं हुआ कि घर से बाहर निकलना पड़े। मैंने कंबल पकड़ा और घर से बाहर भागा। फोन भी लेना भूल गया, इसलिए मैं उस समय भूकंप के बारे नहीं लिख सका जब जमीन हिल रही थी।’
